Some Advice for Today’s Times
You are allowed to be happy before 2028.
If you wish, take helpful action to effect change. Remind people who their legislators are. Give a quick rundown of what issues your friends might find useful for that. Organize a boycott or something.
If you truly find it cathartic and helpful for your mental health to engage in a “2-minute-hate” kind of situation, you have the right, but from what I’m seeing, it isn’t really helping.
My thought is that you have the right to be at peace and happy today. Save your energy, because you’ll need it when it’s time to make a decision.
