For Willow: The Economy of Trust

Trust, even when it’s broken.

It’s too hot a commodity to keep in a forever bank sold to you by the very people who devalued it.

Invest it better. Don’t decide it’s worthless.

They may have decided it was useful for their ends, but it’s good for you to have, too. They shouldn’t be the only ones who get to keep it – your trust, locked away, forever. Never to be given to someone new, who will do much better with it. You need to give it to get it, too, and you’ll need that trust to get you through hard times ahead. So don’t let those frauds freeze your valuable asset – trust.

It’s one of those rare things that needs to be spent freely – not indiscriminately – to be of value.

Don’t lock yourself out of the economy of goodwill forever, kept locked in a tower because of bad witches and bad dragons who want to harvest you.

Rescue yourself. Redeem your own value. You’re worth something.
